Year 4 Curriculum

In Year 4, our pupils complete the lower key stage 2 curriculum. The classrooms look onto the junior playground and the pupils share a grassed quad with Year 3, where they enjoy having the breakout space for group work and creative activities. Our Year 4 pupils go swimming to Stretford Leisure Centre as part of the PE National Curriculum for the first half of the year. We are expected to ensure our pupils are able to swim 25 metres - for their water safety and future enjoyment. Year 4 are part of a Schools Linking Project and we work with another school across Greater Manchester. We are passionate about learning our Times Tables at Moss Park because we know it unlocks so much maths learning. Like other Year 4 pupils around the country, we take part in the Multiplication Tables Check in June of each year.
