Y2 - Geography Food Tasting
This half term, our Geography topic has been exploring the question "How does our food get to us?"
We have been learning about the journey that food goes on, and where different items of food originate.
Over the past two days, we have baked / prepared foods that originate in each of the 4 countries of the UK.
We tried apple sauce using English Bramley apples, Welsh Cakes, porridge using Scottish oats and Irish soda bread.
Afterwards, we enjoyed a group picnic to taste each of the foods :-)
