Half Term Homework

The Year 5 half term project was linked to our topic in Geography, ‘Our Country. Children were able to present their information in any way they liked. Here were their two options:

• CREATIVE – You can put your creative skills to work by creating a 3D model of a famous landmark in London. E.g. Big Ben, London Eye or Tower Bridge out of Lego/papier-mâché/boxes/clay.
• WRITING- Create an information leaflet (or a PowerPoint) about the history of The Olympic Games. Try to include information about the 2012 London Olympic Games. You could watch clips of the opening ceremony to help you.

Miss Jones and Mrs McEvoy were amazed with how much time and effort all of the children had put in to their projects, everyones project was unique and creative - Well done Year 5!!
