Kate about her own baptism and about baptisms that happen now. We learnt that over recent years that has been a lot less people getting baptised that in the past. Using a doll, Rev. Kate showed us the steps to performing a Baptism. We could ask questions as she went. We asked about the water and what makes it ‘Holy Water’, we then asked about the oil that is used. It was interesting to learn that year all the reverends from Manchester go to Manchester cathedral and get given the oil to use during baptisms.
