Headteacher's Welcome

On behalf of the staff, children and governors, I would like to welcome you to our wonderful school. 

Whether you are already a member of our school community or thinking about joining us, we hope our website can capture some of the brilliant learning and magic moments that take place at Moss Park Primary School. The Junior and Infant schools amalgamated in the summer of 2023 to create a two form entry Nursery to Year 6 provision. We have the most wonderful learning environment inside and outside and lots of green spaces for learning and play.

We have enthusiastic, talented and hardworking children, who are supported in their learning by an outstanding staff team, dedicated governors and very supportive parents. We have recently been inspected by OFSTED (May 2025) and we were graded as 'good' in Quality of Education, Leadership and Early Years and 'outstanding' in Behaviour & Attitudes and Personal Development. The inspection team confirmed that,

"Pupils thoroughly enjoy attending their school, where they celebrate everyone being different and unique. They benefit from a culture where all pupils are supported to be their best, while finding their individual talents and interests. Pupils feel that staff keep them safe and empower them to know how to stay safe out of school."

Teamwork, Friendship, Perseverance and Respect

Our pupils chose the new key values that they felt defined us as a primary school. These values permeate the life of our school, with staff, pupils, governors and parents working and learning together to achieve our goals.

• The videos and the Weekly Winners Roll of Honour are uploaded to this website for those who do not have social media
